Harloff is one of the only MRI compatible medical cart manufacturers to test and certify our carts by an independent testing authority to 3 Tesla level (testing date 1-13-2010). All Harloff MRI carts are designed and built for safe use in the strong magnetic fields present in MRI suites and meet American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International designation of “MR-Conditional”. This is because we use only non-magnetic or “weakly magnetic” materials including aluminum, stainless steel, plastic, and aluminum and brass attachment hardware. Many cart manufacturers use plastic construction in order to remain MRI safe, but Harloff MRI carts are more sturdy and durable to endure the rigors of daily use than carts made from flimsy plastic pipe. The MRN7K model is a narrow, key locking MRI compatible medical cart that features full extension drawer slides, 5? sealed ball-bearing casters, protective corner bumpers, a replaceable plastic top with integrated push handles and pre-threaded mounting holes for easy accessory attachment.
