The Original Airchair is purpose-built for onboard passenger assistance. Its compact design allows cabin crew or carers to manoeuvre passengers through the confined spaces of an aircraft cabin and assist with transfers to and from aircraft seats.

The retracting backrest allows the operator to position the chair closer to the passenger during transfers. A simple push-to-release mechanism folds the backrest rearwards, creating additional space and helping reduce unnecessary strain during passenger transfers.

The Airchair features a comfortable seat and backrest made from fire-retardant, wipe-clean recycled e-leather. Waist and thigh straps, side restraints and a fold-away footrest help keep the passenger secure and supported during transit.

Antimicrobial and Easy-to-Clean Frame

The Airchair frame is finished with Sterilcoat-AM®, an antimicrobial powder coating designed to reduce microbial activity and suppress the growth of mould and bacteria. The coating is also designed to retain its antimicrobial properties after repeated cleaning while providing resistance to stains and scratches.

This makes the Airchair particularly suitable for environments where regular cleaning and hygiene procedures are essential, including airline cabins and passenger assistance operations.
